Crowdfunding platforms can be a great way to implement a business idea. However, with so many options available outside of the big 3 - Kickstarter, Gofundme and Indiegogo, it is important to know what crowdfunding platform one should use depending on the project.
I recently bumped into basicincome.co, an attempt to create a basic income through a cryptocurrency. Currently there is a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to accelerate the project. Here are some questions I asked its creator Johan Nygren.
"Life is too short to be unhappy." Don't Pay Me is a portrait of people who follow their heart and decided to live an alternative lifestyle. People who consciously chose to disregard conventional priorities about money and ownership of goods.
Makerfox was a moneyless crowdfunding platform. So it's a bit like Kickstarter, but without monetary transactions. There's still mention of things like dollars on the site though.
